E Komo Mai! “Welcome”
When I’m lazily swinging in my hammock or just hanging out and about this space which I consider my sanctuary, I feel a strong sense of peace, calm, and connection to nature. I have an immense appreciation and respect for the ʻāina “land”. The vibrations keep me in a space of gratitude.
So, I thought to build a guesthouse to share this space allowing others to experience the peace, tranquility and beauty of this land and soundscape. An escape if you will. An opportunity to disconnect – reconnect and allow nature to rejuvenate your Spirit.
On an acre surrounded by trees and tropical flora, enjoy your own private, cozy space. Close enough if you want to engage, but far enough away to be in your own world doing your own thing. Exploring in your own way. Creating your own experience.
The ocean… take me away
Travel a mile up the road to experience the beauty and power of the ocean. Hike south for miles across what appears to be an endless lava landscape with contrasting flora and coconut palms bordering the oceanfront. Take a beach chair, find your perfect spot to sit, relax, decompress, and take in the healing salt air and ocean breezes. It’s soothing, mesmerizing and yet another way to connect with nature… raise your vibration.

Brother is on the Hamakua coast mauka (mountain side) with plenty of private, open space to roam amongst eucalyptus trees or hike down to the stream bordering his property. And the ocean view is mesmerizing. He also lives off grid and that’s amazing! Enjoy your private space at his peaceful Hamakua Hideaway.
I’m about 50 minutes south of brother’s spot in Puna on makai (ocean side). I think of my space as a rough diamond “in the jungle”. The landscape is surrounded by trees and tropical flora.
